Our Purpose
The purpose of this chamber of commerce site is to provide a business network for local businesses and help them get
connected to the community - both the public and the business community. This chamber of commerce is an organization
of local citizens who are interested in developing and improving their local community. Our members have invested
their own time and money into this program to improve the civic, cultural, and economic wellbeing of our community.
The goal of this website is to act as a spokesman for the businesses and professionals within the community. We also
strive to put the thoughts and ideas of our members into real action.
Our mission is to create a setting in which our local businesses can prosper. We strive to promote the interests of
local businesses as well as goods and services that those businesses and professionals can provide. Ultimately, we
wish to help local businesses grow and expand and help fund new roads to improve our city’s infrastructure. This
improvement in infrastructure will help lead to easier access to the goods and services our local businesses can
provide. We believe that all individuals are capable of making this local business community a successful and
thriving geographical location. We welcome all those who are willing to lend service and seek the betterment of
both our public community, and it’s businesses within that community.

Kellogg Company has made its way to most of America’s breakfast table. They manufacture a variety of cereals and convenience foods that can be enjoyed by just about everyone. The foods they manufacture include cereal, cereal bars, wellness bars, cookies, toaster pastries, frozen waffles, fruit-flavored snacks, and veggie foods. Kellogg’s has done a great job of keeping up with the demands of Americans and their ever-changing eating habits, and they look to be in a good position to continue that pace for many more years to come.
Duncan Aviation is a jet service provider who just so happens to be the largest privately owned jet service business in the world. They perform everything on jet airplanes, from maintenance, to repairs and overhauls. The company also takes part in aircraft acquisition, aircraft sales, and installations of every bit of gear that an aircraft might need. They have 3 major facilities across the United States, located in Michigan, Nebraska, and Utah. Duncan Aviation seeks constant innovation to improve upon the performance and quality that jet aircraft can offer.
Firekeepers Casino serves as one of the largest casinos in Michigan and regularly gets visitors from Indiana and Ohio. They feature a multi-purpose Event Center which has been used for major performers such as Tony Bennett, Reba McIntyre, and Tim Allen. Firekeepers features a luxurious hotel which has been named a Four Diamond Hotel by AAA. Firekeepers has been very active in the local community, providing fund raisers and donating to shelters for those affected by domestic violence. Firekeepers also provides food for the downtown schools in Battle Creek.
